Colonial Heights Swim & Yacht Club, Inc. Membership Information
MEMBERSHIP - Membership at Colonial Heights Swim & Yacht Club, Inc. requires a one-time membership fee. The current membership fee of $375 includes ONE immediate family group residing in ONE household. Dependent children listed on the membership must be under the age of 25. ALL SYC membership applications are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors. SYC membership is capped at 500 families annually. Members will be considered ‘active’, with accompanying rights and privileges, as long as there is active participation in a payment schedule. Members who fail to pay membership installments will have their memberships terminated.
ANNUAL DUES
Membership dues are established annually by the Board of Directors. ALL members must pay dues, and NO member shall use pool facilities until dues are paid. Statements are issued by early March. Members who pay (postmarked) their dues (+ membership installment, if applicable) by
April 5 receive a discount.
• Dues =
- Option 1 – Payment in full;
- 1 payment $315 before April 5, 2011
- $350 April 5 to closing - Labor Day
- (NOTE: Single/Individual Memberships – deduct $100.00)
- Option 2 – Installment plan
- $360; 3 installments of $120, once a month Mar 1 through May 24
- (NOTE: Single/Individual Memberships – last payment of $20.00)
- NOTE: as of 2011: All or any Dues or Membership Fees (current or previous years' pending installments or outstanding balances) may be paid with credit using VISA or MasterCard.
MEMBERSHIP RIDERS
SYC offers two types of membership riders …
1. GRANDPARENT / GRANDCHILDREN MEMBERSHIP -
- A grandparent who is a member may include grandchildren on his / her membership at a cost of $50 for the first child and $25 for each additional child
- A grandparent who is a non-member may be included on the grandchild's family membership at a cost of $50 for the first grandparent and $25 for the second grandparent.

2. BABY-SITTER PASS - A baby-sitter pass will be issued to a non-pool member for $75 for the swim season. This fee is non-refundable and the baby-sitter may only use the pool facilities when accompanied by the child / children. Download the Babysitter Rider Form here.
Both fees are payable yearly.
