SYC Members,

Over the past two seasons we have had significant capital improvements expenses to repair both diving boards. In order to replenish funds we are looking to hold various fundraisers with a target of raising a minimum of $5000 dollars this season.

This message is to kick off our first fundraiser - the Shop with Scrip Program. How it works is that you are able to go online and order gift cards at face value (i.e. $25 for a $25 gift card) for hundreds of different stores/restaurants. The pool benefits by receiving a percentage of these gift card sales from Scrip at no cost to you. By using this program to buy gift cards for Christmas presents as well as your regular shopping, the program will go a long way to helping us meet our goal for this year and future years.

Deadline for first orders:

Please place orders by December 8th for gift cards. You can pay electronically from your checking account and the gift cards will be shipped to me for distribution. If you place your order by this date, cards will be available for pick up starting December 13th. Based on the number of orders, times will be set up at the pool and/or the library for pick up of the gift cards.
